For the first time in our 20 year histories the Difficult Airway Society (DAS) and the Society for Airway Management (SAM) are combining their annual scientific meetings to produce an eclectic programme of lectures, workshops and social events for a world-wide and world-class meeting in Dublin, Ireland.

Conference Highlights:

    Six keynote sessions spread over 3 days, to include innovate lectures from Dr Kevin Fong, Prof Alan Merry (New Zealand), Prof Tim Cook, Prof Steve Yentis, Prof Antony Wiles, Dr Chris Frerk, Prof Martin Burchell and Mr Guri Sandhu.   • Interactive hands on workshop
    Pick from workshops especially designed to help further your skills in Ultrasound, Front of Neck Access, Thoracic, Paediatric and Fibreoptic Intubation/Supraglottic Airway Devices/Videolaryngoscopy. For further information on learning outcomes for each workshops please click here.
     
  • Meet the experts in their fields, in the expert sessions
    Expert sessions are small intimate learning environments, with leaders in their fields on the topics reflected. Join these experts to interactively discuss latest ideas, understanding and debates on the subjects. Split over Friday and Saturday.   • Pre-conference simulation and Tracheostomy workshops
    Arriving to the conference early? Don’t forget to book onto the pre-conference workshops. A simulation workshop is being held at the College of Anaesthetist on the Wednesday and a Tracheostomy Workshop in being run by the Royal College of Surgeons, to find out more click here.
     
  • WAMM dinner at the Guinness Storehouse
    The much anticipated WAMM dinner will be held in the historic and impressive Guinness Storehouse, a seven storied building which brings to life the history of the famous Guinness brand. Don’t forget to book your ticket and meet your fellow colleagues for what promises to be an exciting evening of food, drink and entertainment.
